Mel has recently retired to us from Australia! She ran 51 races during her career Down Under.
Mel is a tiny little girl who came to us from Australia. We joke when she doesn’t listen it’s because she can’t understand our accents. You would never guess meeting Mel that she is 8 years old. She has the sass and spunk of a 2 year old at times. Mel is allowed on our couch as she was previously in her trainer’s home for years and it was obvious from the moment we met her that she believed she belonged on the couch. My favorite moments with Mel are first thing in the morning when she’s at the bedside asking for love, when we get home and she’s spinning in her crate and wagging her tail, and when she trots through the house carrying a toy in her mouth. Mel is a very lovey girl and soaks up all the attention she can get. If you’re looking for a spunky little thing to hangout with she’s the perfect candidate.
