Genie has recently retired to us from Australia! She just recently retired to us after running 95 races Down Under. Could Genie be the hound for you?
Genie is a big personality. She is a playful but loving little girl. She is perfectly content throwing around toys but also knows how to turn it off, sleeping on the couch for the entire day. Genie is always happy, prancing around and bouncing around outside with the other dogs.
Genie will play with the other dogs but is fine by herself as well. She is fascinated by the weird things that the cats get up to, but just watches them from afar. Genie has learned her manners well and is a very fast learner. She does well in her crate overnight and when we leave. When she’s lounging with you during the day, it would be beneficial to let her out to potty relatively often as well as letting her out immediately after she eats. Genie learns rules fairly quickly though and is easily correctable, wanting to do what you want her to do.
Genie is a bubbly, outgoing girl. Even though she loves playing with toys and giving kisses, she’s not overly active. She’s happy laying around all day on a comfy couch like she did at her Australian trainers or playing with some toys on a dog bed next to you.
