Porter just retired to AFG after 140 races and after graduating from The Greyhound Inmate Experience! He’s a new retiree we are still learning about. Could Porter be the hound for you??
Porter loves to toss stuffies around and squeak them to death. He’s also willing to play with old stuffies that no longer squeak. He has been OK alone for an 8 hour workday but has not yet made it to 9 hours so I come home mid-day to let him out to potty. He is a super sweet, well mannered dog who loves to be with his people. I think he would do well with another dog for companionship. He is cooperative about having his toenail clipped, his ears cleaned and his teeth brushed. He has been through the Prison Training Program and is motivated, attentive, eager to learn and to spend time with you. Porter is a gentle, loving soul who will make a great addition to a lucky family.
