Mugsy just retired to AFG after 20 races. He’s a new retiree we are still learning about. Could Mugsy be the hound for you?
Mugsy is a very loveable hound. He is a giant goofball that will endear himself to you regardless of his shenanigans. He loves people and wants nothing more than to be with them. He loves snuggling and giving kisses. He has some sleep startle so I would advise saying his name before touching him and inviting him into your bed may not be the best idea. He does get on counters because he is nosy but easily correctable. He is very hard to keep off furniture and this probably the worst to correct him on so please know this may continue in a new home. He will get off the furniture but it takes a couple corrections before he responds. He loves toys, and is very food motivated. He loves walks, car rides and pet store visits. He gets really excited when he sees you grab his leash and this lasts a few minutes ( even into a walk) but he will settle down relatively quickly. He is truly a joy and very hard not to love.
