Hellboy has turned in his muzzle after 48 races. He is still new to AFG and we are still getting to know him. Could Hellboy be the one for you?
Hellboy is a calm, affectionate, well mannered guy. He is very laid back, curious, and friendly. He loves attention. He gets along great with our cats and dogs (greys and nongreys). He is respectful of the cats and while he will approach them, he doesn’t offer to chase them.
He does well on car rides, with stairs, and in his crate. He loves walks and behaves very well. On walks, he shows little interest in other dogs, squirrels, bikes, runners etc. He hasn’t had any accidents in the house or his crate.
He has recently discovered toys and protects them when in his bed or crate. He has been responding well to correction. He used to growl a little at the cats if they tried to share his bed. He doesn’t mind if people or dogs do this, but I’m not sure where small children would fit into this.
Hellboy also seems pretty aware of his size so he doesn’t knock things or people over so he’s unlikely to knock over small children. This super chill guy would be great with other dogs, cats, and kids.
