Jesse has hung up his racing muzzle after 18 races and has recently graduated from The Greyhound Inmate Experience. He is new here at AFG and we are still getting to know him better. Could this handsome guy be the hound for you?
Jesse is a super cool boy!!
He came in and immediately got along just fine with our hounds. He never tries to get on the couch or the bed but he LOVES the slumber ball and you can usually find him in the roach position snoozing on it. He plays really well with our two. Jesse also plays really good on his own. He loves his interactive treat toys and also the random stuffies and squeaky toys that we have all around and enjoys chewing on the bones we have as well. He’s not super into running a lot, he can run but it’s not something he likes to do as much as ours do….but does play fetch and will bring the ball back. He’s not huge into being outdoors, he usually goes out and immediately wants to come back in. We think he’d be great for walks to burn out some energy.
Jesse is young and still likes to play, we’ve had a few play sessions where he likes to lightly grab on to your hands when playing but he’s super gentle and if he’s getting to excited he’s easily correctable. We can see him being a cuddler as well, he’s so easy going you can just pick him up and put him on your lap and he’s fine with that. He loves butt scratches and will bounce his butt back and forth when he’s getting scratched, it’s so cute. Jesse doesn’t have his tail but we think his nub is adorable! Instead of wagging his tail when he’s excited his tail vibrates and we just get a kick out of how adorable it is.
