Taylor came to AFG with no registration. Her other littermates have been registered, but Taylor was not. She did test heartworm positive when she came to adoption, but she has been treated and ready to find a home. Taylor is in good health and on the road to finding herself a home to call her own. Taylor is on the shy side, so she will need a family to help her blossom into the hound that we know she is. Could this little black jumping bean be your next adventure?
Taylor came to AFG with no registration and tested positive for heartworm, but she has been treated and is ready to find a home. Taylor is in good health and has built up her endurance to run with the fastest of greyhounds. At first, Taylor was on the shy side, but she has developed confidence, curiosity, and affection for the humans and dogs she interacts with.
Running and chasing is Taylor’s favorite form of play. She still has the “puppy bounce” when she runs. She greets new friends with bouncing excitement. She does well with children, other animals, and is looking for her own family. Taylor is what we call a Velcro dog. She finds her favorite people or dogs and sticks closely to them.
Taylor loves fluffy things like stuffed toys and slippers! She likes to hide them in her bed and sleep on them. She is not destructive, so your slippers should be safe. If you scold her for stealing them, she gives you the saddest puppy eyes. She does not bark much, but she grumbles like an old man. Taylor conveys excitement and interest with her ears, so expect to see them pointing every which-way when she plays. When she wants attention, she bops you with her nose or steps on the back of your shoes.
