Pace has made into retirement with 60 scorching races to his credit.  He is still here at AFG and we are getting to know him better.  Could this quiet guy be the one your family is looking for?

Pace would shy away and back off from me when I first approached him when he first came into foster care. He tended to startle quiet easily with new noises and sounds, especially if they were loud. Pace actually does very well taking walks on our very busy street. He has gradually become less skittish and more at ease in his foster home. He has had no problems getting along with our 3 female greyhounds. He has appeared much more relaxed and we are seeing more tail wags and Pace picking up toys to play with. He would likely do well in a quieter home with another dog to help build his confidence. He can be affectionate and likes to be with you and be petted, but he is also fine laying on a dog bed and is not a needy dog.
