Astrid just retired to AFG with 7 races to her credit! She is still new to us here at AFG and we are getting to know her better. Could this celestial beauty be the center of your universe?
Astrid prefers a leash walk home as she has had an injury to her ACL. She has recovered nicely, but a home without a fence would be best for her.
Astrid is a very affectionate and joyful puppy. She is two in early July and has all of the bright and playful personality of a young pup. Astrid loves to give kisses and to get belly rubs and will nose you until you give her the amount of affection she desires. She loves to see what you’re doing and will come over for kisses frequently.
Astrid is a very curious dog and loves to explore. Sometimes her curiosity can lead her to shenanigans but she learns quickly. She knows she’s a pretty girl and will admire herself in the mirror. She wants to be part of the action and also is incredibly easily distracted (SQUIRREL!). Given her cute and sweet puppy demeanor, it’s pretty endearing. Astrid’s always nice to the other dogs, although she wants all the toys for herself and doesn’t always understand boundaries. She is great with the cats, looking over to see what they’re doing periodically but not even noticing them the rest of the time. She is a sweet young girl who gets along well with everyone!
