Tricia has recently hung up her racing muzzle after 89 races.  She is still new to AFG and we are getting to know each other.  Could this cutie be the hound for you?

Tricia is an awesome girl. She gets along well with our male and female dogs of various sizes. She is not snarky but will stand her ground if our male grey wants to take the toy she is playing with. She is laid back girl that is happy playing second fiddle to the other dogs.
When she is really happy–like when she meets new people–her tail will wag in big circles. She has been exposed to thunderstorms, loud traffic, ceiling fans, vacuum cleaners, lawn mowers, small children and people walking around and over her without batting an eye. She will go after those evil squirrels while on a walk so you must make sure to hold on tight to the leash. She also wants to get out the front door at times but we are working on this. She will pull a little on the leash when she is in a new place (or there is a squirrel or rabbit ahead). She wants to see what you are doing in every room in the house but doesn’t stick to you like Velcro. She has never jumped on the furniture or had an accident in the house or in her crate. She is a sweet, loving girl that is polite and respectful to both humans and canines. She is just now learning to take food from my hand and might do well with clicker or other positive reinforcement training. Although, she is a bit of a thief and will pick up my husband’s things and take them to another room but does not chew them. I think she is still learning the difference between dog toys and not dog toys. She is a joy to have and would fit into pretty much any household but may do best with another dog.
