Dotty was recently returned to AFG through no fault of her own. She was returned with her housemate DL’s Jimbo. Dotty is hoping to find a new forever home to finish out her retirement in. Could Dotty be the hound for you??
Dotty is the easiest foster I’ve had yet. Again, that’s probably due to the fact that she’s been in a home before and was returned through no fault of her own. She is currently the only dog, but she lived for several years with a male greyhound. She’s had no accidents in the house, and there’s been no destructive chewing. She’s pretty cooperative with teeth brushing, ear cleaning, and toenail trimming. She probably was used to being on the couch in her previous home, but I don’t allow that at my house, so she’s been good. One night, during a particularly long and loud siren, she quietly “roo-ed” along – it was super cute. Dotty prefers half mile walks to mile walks. When you first let her out of her crate, she jumps and spins like a young dog. Don’t overlook this dog because of her age. She could make an excellent pet – especially if you like to relax.
