Stanley has taken an early retirement after 2 amazing races. He is still new to us here at AFG and we are getting to know him better. His sister, Suki and Shelley are already in foster care through AFG and looking for a home of their own. Stanley has a shy personality, so it will take him some time to comfortable in his surroundings in the beginning. Could this strapping young lad be the one you are looking for?
Upon first meeting Stanley he is a very shy boy who becomes nervous in new situations. When given time though his personality completely changes and he becomes a playful, affectionate boy. Stanley loves to play with toys and will carry them around everywhere. He initially was terrified to go on walks but now they are his favorite thing. He is still very concerned about cars parked on the street or driving close by the sidewalk when he is walking. If his future home wants to take him for walks he would do better in a quieter neighborhood. He is showing signs of having separation anxiety while in the crate so he would do better in a home with others dogs or a with family that is only gone a few hours during the day.
