Maria has retired after 71 amazing races. She did have a career ending injury to her hock and she has some fancy hardware to repair the injury. Maria does use the hock currently, but gingerly. Over time with regular walks, her hock will be in full use. Could this raven haired beauty be the one for you?
Maria is a spunky, playful girl with a goofy side. She loves to play with toys, although sometimes she is confused about where the squeaks are coming from. She always wants to see what’s going on, whether it be you cooking in the kitchen, the cats making noise from a different room, or a new toy that another dog has. While she does laying around, she is also happy playing and exploring something new.
Maria has a rear hock injury, which she is currently recovering from. She doesn’t seem to think this needs to slow her down. She is getting better every day and is even getting okay with long flights of stairs.
Maria is very goofy and feels comfortable pretty much anywhere. She roaches in every situation (day one, in her crate, on the grass) and is confident with new dogs and people. She is not always the most graceful dog but makes up for it with her confidence and carefree attitude. She is almost always smiling and happy. If you’re looking for a goofy, affectionate pup who will always cheer you up, Maria might be your girl.
