Kara has kicked her way into retirement with 107 dazzling races from Palm Beach and Derby Lane. She is still new to us here at AFG and we are getting to know each other better. Could this star born beauty be the one for you?
Our little Kare-bear has really become a fun foster girl to have. In the beginning she was pretty reserved and timid in the house. Once she had a chance to acclimate to her new surrounds and know our dogs she started to come out of her shell. It will likely take some time for her to fully come out of her shell with her new family, but we promise it will be worth the wait. She is just hilarious to sit back and watch at times in how she plays with toys. She also is a thief and isn’t uncommon to find a slipper, sock, or other random human items in her collection of toys that she makes for herself.
Our pack is older and she so badly wants to play with another dog, but our hounds aren’t having it. Kara can be timid from time to time if she’s not quite sure what you’re up to. Trying to get photos of her is like taking a picture of bigfoot. You think you got it and then all you end up with is a blurry tail in a photo. When she is nervous she does look for another dog in our pack as a means of guidance/protection. While we do not feel that she requires another dog it would simply be a benefit for her, especially if it is someone that enjoys playing/running with another hounds. Every day she becomes more and more affectionate and lets you mess with her all the more. She likes to follow you to see what you’re up to. She’s so light on her feet you sometimes don’t know she’s even right behind you.
Despite being a petite lady she’s got a big personality and a lot of spunk for a small package. It’s been a joy to see her personality come out more and more as we get to know her better. Being super cute helps, but Kara really is a sweetheart that will win over anyone in short order.
