Teresa just retired to AFG after 156 quick as you like races! She has also just completed and graduated from The Greyhound Inmate Experience with her Good Canine Citizen Certificate. Teresa has recently been returned to AFG through no fault of her own. She prefers a house with children who are a little bit older. Could this accomplished little lady named Teresa be the hound for your family?
Teresa is a silly and outgoing hound who loves to nuzzle you for attention. The term “big personality” fits her extremely well. She is always very happy and is always there to greet you at the door. She would like nothing more than to stay in the spotlight and is more than happy to take all of your affection. While Teresa really enjoys attention, she does not need to be at your side all the time, but will come to you when she wants some love. She is very cuddly and will come over to lay her head on your lap or give you kisses. Teresa enjoys playing with the other hounds but is not necessarily a fan of sharing. Teresa is goofy and is willing to play but will also lay down for a long greyhound nap.
Teresa knows basic commands but sometimes forgets when she needs to use them (either accidentally or on purpose). She loves to roll over and her favorite command is sit. She also gets very excited about almost everything and wags her tail like a tornado. She wants to roo but doesn’t really know how to do it. She is not the most graceful of dogs but this makes her more endearing, as she sometimes resembles a baby deer. It’s hard not to love Ms. Teresa, as she will immediately come up to greet you with a face lick and roll over to get belly rubs.
