Flirt is a big softy (literally!), an old soul, might be a bit of an Eeyore, and most importantly will win you over with her enchanting kind eyes. She raced an even fifty times at Wheeling and had a hock injury, which is now completely healed.
Flirt is looking for a calm retirement in a home with soft dog beds and cozy blankets to nest in. She is very respectful of furniture and has not attempted to get on the furniture, even to join other dogs. She enjoys stuffed toys that squeak—she particularly likes to throw her stuffies around and then carry them to her bed to use as a pillow.
Flirt is house trained with a flawless record in her foster home, has mastered stairs, and is confident on all flooring types. She gets along great with other large dogs and despite her passionate obsession with food, shows no signs of resource guarding. However, she rarely shows a playful side with other dogs. She leaves the rowdy play to the “kids”–she’d rather take another nap or play by herself.
Flirt will jump right into the car, but she likely won’t share your love of adventure. She’d prefer to simply be someone’s loving companion and is most comfortable being a homebody.
