Twix is a chill girl who also has a playful side, especially with other dogs! She was in 77 races in Wheeling and is ready for retirement and her own personal dog bed!
Twix is as sweet as her name suggests and is extremely playful! She was in 77 races in Wheeling before retiring. This beautiful girl loves her people, loves toys, loves other greyhounds, and LOVES food. She loves throwing her stuffies and chasing them through the house. Twix is not timid or shy, but is bursting with curiosity. This unfortunately results in occasional selective hearing–she wants to investigate everything (perhaps a future in nose work???) and most things are simply more interesting than you. Don’t take it personally though, once everything has been sniffed out, Twix gives excellent hugs and is a big leaner. She really appreciates any chances for “spa treatments”, especially in the evenings. She’ll snuggle down and often fall asleep during her nail trims, teeth brushing, paw balm, and any other services you’d like to offer her.
Twix has been working through some insecurities with crating and car rides. When crated, she vocalizes occasionally and can be restless but has been handling 8-hour workdays fairly well. She has not been destructive and does not seem sensitive to schedule changes. In the car, she whines but does well once she has arrived at her destination and is out and about. Twix will thrive in a home with people who are firm but patient, and most importantly will support her goofy, playful nature.
