Irene came into retirement with 2 star exploding races. She wasn’t quite ready for the couch yet, so she headed off to school and earned her Canine Good Citizens Certificate. Irene is now ready to fully relax with a family of her own and show off her skills she learned in school! Could this lovely lady be the one for you?
Irene ran two races and then went through the inmate experience. She is a loving and snuggly girl who just wants to be with people whenever she can. She will do the tricks she learned in the inmate experience if you have a tasty treat for her reward! She is playful and curious. Irene would be outside all day, rain or shine, if she was allowed.
Irene is easy to correct when she finds something she shouldn’t have. She loves to play, nap and look for squirrels. She sleeps great in her crate at night and has never had an issue being crated during the work day. When you take her for a walk she gets excited, but walks quite well on the leash. Irene is completely potty trained. She has never attempted to lay on any furniture, although there’s no doubt that she would get up if she were invited to snuggle.
A cozy dog bed and lots of belly rubs are really what Irene is looking for in her retirement!
