Lilo retired in 2013, after an illustrious career of 0, yes zero, races :). Don’t let that fool you though, she can still run around the backyard at a very quick pace. Miss Lilo’s personality is sugar and spice and everything nice, with a dash of Sriracha just to keep things interesting. She is a larger female, with a beautiful speckled coat. She is a friendly, kissy, waggy kinda girl who has settled in very quickly to her foster home. She rides in the car well, would make an excellent walking partner, and loves nothing more than attention from the humans in her home. She thrives on routine, and when you let her know what is expected of her, she learns incredibly quickly. In general she’s confident and calm, and enjoys napping the day away after exploring the backyard or walking around the neighborhood. Miss Lilo has a few behavioral learning curves that we are working on (see foster profile, temperament section for more details). Because of that she would benefit from being adopted into an greyhound home with experience in these areas, or to adopters who are open to learning about them. Lilo has been an absolute delight to foster, and we know she will make a wonderful addition to her forever home.
