Macy has headed into retirement with 15 quick races to her credit. She is still new here at AFG and we are getting to know her better. Macy has graduated from The Greyhound Inmate Experience and is ready to find a home. Could this happy-go-lucky gal be the one to complete your family?
Macy won us over straight away. She is a petite girl but has a giant heart. At times she can be very velcro and loves to get attention from her people, but doesn’t have to follow you constantly either. In our pack she’s blended in well and gotten along with everyone. Although she loses a bit of confidence being by herself we do not feel that she has to go in a home with another dog, but she certainly would benefit from it. Macy would also do great as a family dog as she loved the kids she met at her first meet & greet. She’s pretty laid back and quiet for the most part, but her youth comes through often in her playing with toys or trying to play with our other hounds. A home that is active, whether from kids or other dogs, would be best for her. Macy is one of those girls where everyone instantly falls in love with her, and rightly so. She’s been a fantastic girl to foster, and the home she ends up in will be truly blessed to have a hound like her.
