Sunny is a sweet and affectionate girl! Sunny didn’t race before coming to AFG. She is nervous in new situations and can have a hard time with sudden/unexpected movements or loud noises, but she’s getting much more settled into the noises and workings of her foster home and has really started to bloom.
Once Sunny finds out you’re a “safe person” she wants nothing more than to be by your side and get hugs and kisses! She’s very affectionate and person oriented, wanting to be with you and please you. She has started playing with toys and will pile them up on her dog bed in the back of the house and squeak on them happily for hours.
She lives with two cats and a small dog in her foster home and ignores the cats and tries to play with the dog.
She benefits from having another dog in the home to follow the lead of, if they’re not scared then maybe it isn’t so bad! She is working on getting used to other dogs walking near her bed while she’s sleeping, and while she was originally very grumpy about it, she’s now progressed to being mildly annoyed.
She’s a very sweet, smart girl who’s willing to learn and just needs some gentle leading in the right direction.
