Knight has a goofy personality and does most of the fun/quirky greyhound things; roaching, smiling, rooing, groaning/growling in his sleep, and he experiences ETS “escaped tongue syndrome”. Knight was returned to AFG through no fault of his own, he has done well in his adoptive and foster homes. He initially retired to AFG after completing 165 races and was a grade A racer. He is a big beautiful brindle boy. Knight has a puppyish playful streak, but he also enjoys long naps throughout the day. He likes to “talk” to you if he thinks you are taking too long while getting him a treat. He is friendly and outgoing to all, but his real bond with you blooms over time. Therefore his true personality may not show at meet & greets or in homes. Since Knight likes to be close to his family, he would do best in a home with another dog to keep him company or with humans who are around most of the time, or are willing to help him work through potential separation anxiety. He really is a one of a kind dog. We are sure that he will make a wonderful addition to his forever family
