Carlos came to us from Wheeling with 65 blazing races!
Carlos is a wonderful boy. He is confident and friendly but not in your face. He is a bit velcro and likes to follow you around for pets, but is also happy going to lay down in a dog bed if you want him to. He is very observant, recognizing what you want from him and then trying VERY hard to do whatever that is. He is not too active but not too calm- just a perfect all around dog with lots of love to give.
Carlos is very good with all of the animals in the house, but he doesn’t follow them around, potentially making a good single dog. He really likes to be around people, so he might get lonely being alone all of the time though. With cats, he is sometimes curious about what they do, but has always been gentle and nice to them. With other dogs, he gets along with everyone. He will let them know if they get into his space, but is very friendly with the other hounds in general.
Carlos is an overall very sweet boy. He is extremely well-behaved. He loves to greet you at the door but also is very willing to lay down all day or play with toys by himself. He does have a little dose of mischief but it’s a nice complement to his calm demeanor. This stunning boy has both the manners and the personality!
