Whistle has just been returned to AFG through no fault of his own.  He was in a home for 4 years with another hound.  He tends to be on the nervous side so would do best in a home with another dog.   Could Whistle be the hound for you???

Whistle is an absolute delight to foster and we are sure that he will make a wonderful addition to his forever family. He was in a home for 4 years with another greyhound, and was returned through no fault of his own. Whistle fits into the home environment seamlessly, and is incredibly well behaved. Whistle has a gorgeous sleek and shiny brindle coat that doesn’t shed much and is incredibly soft. Whistle is more of an anxious (than confident) dog, so he becomes unsure of himself in a new environment. Because of this, he would benefit from a home where he has another dog for companionship and humans who enjoy spending their time with him. He settles quickly into an established routine and is very eager to please. Whistle is a low key dog who is happiest when he can sleep the day away next to your side. He is affectionate and wants to be around you, he loves belly rubs and attention. That being said, he still has moments where he gets excited and enjoys playing with toys and twirling around. We cannot say enough good things about Whistle, he is a sweet one of a kind kind of boy!
