Pop has come to AFG after an amazing racing career of 79 races. This superstar is getting adjusted to retirement and we are getting to know him better. Could this shining star and hunk-of-burning love be the one for you?
Pop is a happy boy! He loves everything, but especially toys and butt scratches. He will throw around toys to himself and other dogs, playing tug of war and tag for as long as he can. After a good round of playing, he will fall asleep for the rest of the day. He’s not a super active dog- just really enjoys playing with whatever toys he can get his paws on.
Pop is very affectionate and friendly with everyone and everything. He loves to come up and get all of the attention from you and is willing to play nice with the other dogs (and even try to get the cats involved!). But when it’s time to go to sleep, he finds his own place and hunkers down. He wants to please his owners and is willing to listen to what you have to say, even if it’s something he might not want to hear.
Pop is a big boy and is not the most graceful dog. He’ll sometimes slide around and fall or stumble over his own feet. Combined with his good looks and the fact that he’s not the brightest bulb, this is very endearing. If you’re looking for a lovable lug who is playful but willing to please, this big ball of fluff might be a good choice!
