Holly just retired to AFG after 112 races! She a new retiree we are still learning about. Could Holly be the hound for you??
Holly has continued to do well in her foster care home over the last few weeks. She has been out to some meet and greets and enjoys being petted and receiving attention, but is a bit reserved when there is a lot of commotion, noise, activity, and busy young children. She may do best in a quieter home with older children and would also need another dog to keep her company. Holly is not an “in your face” dog, but does like to have her people close by and in the same room with her or she can get a little whiney sometimes. Although she does adapt well to new situations, she will still require time and patience to get used to new things like any other dog when in a new home. Due to the addition of a new foster dog in her foster home, Holly is now sleeping in a crate at night next to her foster sister’s crate just outside of her foster mom’s bedroom. She has been quiet and sleeping well through the night with this arrangement. She continues to get along well with the 4 other female greyhounds in her foster home and loves playing and running around with them in the yard..
