Dekem was in a home for a short period of time and was returned through no fault of his own or his owners. At times he was showing some signs of perhaps needing another dog in the house. We are still leaning towards the recommendation of Dekem going into a home with another dog. While he seems to enjoy the company of people more than hounds it might serve him better to have some company when home alone.
He’s been a gentle giant since he came into our home. While he isn’t weighing in at 90 lbs Dekem stands tall and has a big presence. Typically we don’t fuss much over the colors/markings of our fosters, but Dekem really is a stunning boy. He truly loves being with people. About the only thing he might like better is playing with his soccer ball outside. He’s an affectionate boy with a big heart, and given the chance to meet him he’ll definitely melt yours.
