This wonderful fellow just came in from the tracks in Wheeling with a whopping 151 races to his name.
Stride is the definition of chill. He is an independent boy who doesn’t need your attention all the time (although he does need a good dog bed!). He does like pets, but will not follow you around to get them, allowing you to give them on your own time. He has been a sweet, well-behaved boy from day one, laying down from almost the moment he came into our foster home.
Stride ignores our cats and is good around our other dogs. He has had a tendency to resource guard his food and toys a bit, barking at other dogs when they are eating near him or trying to take his toys, but he corrects well and it is easily managed by feeding the dogs apart. He loves playing with toys and is a very independent boy, not needing a lot of attention.
Stride is still opening up more and more each day, but his name fits him- he takes everything in Stride. He is a very sweet, independent boy who would love to add a chill vibe to your home.
