Gal has been recently returned through no fault of her own. Gal has come into retirement with 81 wind blown races. She does have an old racing injury but it doesn’t bother her much.
Meet Gal!
This special girl is looking for someone to make her their everything! She is a velcro love bug who forms deep connections with her family. She loves to cuddle, hang out and watch tv, go on long walks to enjoy the sunset and go for car rides to explore new places. She loves meeting new people and is great with children of all ages. She has a calm easygoing disposition, but still has enough spunk to keep up with a busy lifestyle.
Gal will require a dog buddy in the home as she feels more comfortable with a friend to help her guide the way. She does have a high prey drive, so no kitties please. She will bark at squirrels across the street or in trees, but in the house she is very quiet and reserved. She has been great in her foster families home with a french bulldog and can be found cuddling with her small sister and hound siblings.
Gal is an angel in her crate and is very clean. She sleeps well through the night and has had no accidents in the home. She is great at using stairs both up and down, and will jump into the car to go for car rides. She’s a breeze on leash and never pulls. She has also been in a parade with her foster family and was great for the firetrucks, cheering people, kids running up to pet her from all sides, and meeting other dogs in a busy community environment.
Gal loves meal time and has no issues eating. Her foster mom does have a raised slow feeder for her as she will swallow without chewing her food. She also loves dental chews and collagen rolls. She loves toys but prefers antlers, nylabones or something she can chew and be busy with.
Gal is the total package, and is looking for the right family to call her own!
