Chandler is an unregistered pup just arrived at AFG with no races to his credit. He has recently been returned to AFG through no fault of his own. Chandler will need a structured home with boundaries and rules…because he thinks he is a rebel without a cause. Could Chandler be the hound for you??
Chandler is a loving, energetic and playful hound. Chandler would do best with a family that goes for daily walks and provides him with lots of stimulation. He thrives with a consistent schedule and a firm rules.
He is very affectionate and loves to be pet and to cuddled. He is a velcro dog. Chandler enjoys the company of another dog around as well. He loves to throw his plush toys around and chew on Nylabones and bully sticks. He also enjoys the occasional peanut butter kong. He does not seem to like bananas. He loves meal time and is fed in his crate. He also loves walks.
Chandler does not like being crated overnight. He prefers to have his humans in sight and sleep on a dog bed in his owner(s) room. He does well staying off furniture. He LOVES the mornings and is always so excited to start the day. He does little hops all the way to turnout and meal time. He knows basic commands such as no, laydown, back it up and wait (in a firm tone).
