Lila is a sweet little girl who didn’t race but is ready to retire directly to a dog bed in your house!
Lila can be a little unsure at first, especially on walks, where new sights and sounds can sometimes spook her. But don’t let that fool you—this girl is incredibly smart and learns quickly. In a short period of time, she’s already learned her name and understands “go outside” for potty time!
At home, Lila has a wonderful balance of energy. She loves to play and absolutely adores her toys. After some fun, she’s more than happy to settle in and relax. Lila is also a total snuggle bug and a classic “Velcro dog” she loves being close to her person and will happily soak up all the affection you’re willing to give.
Lila did well with house and crate training—she may whine for a few minutes at first, but she settles down nicely. She also does great with other dogs and would likely benefit from having a confident canine companion to help show her the ropes.
Lila is looking for a patient and understanding home that will give her the time and guidance she needs to continue building confidence. Watching her experience “firsts” and grow more comfortable each day is incredibly rewarding—she just needs someone willing to take that journey with her.
