Thunder is a great dog and will be an excellent companion for anyone looking for a confident snuggle buddy. He has some velcro tendencies and will want to follow his people around until he is more sure of the daily routine. Once he settles in, he has no problem playing with toys on his own or taking a nap in a quiet room by himself.
He is polite with the dogs and the cat in his foster home, and he also enjoys playing chase with the neighbor’s dog along the shared fence. He is quick to spot and chase small critters in the yard, but hasn’t caught anything (yet). He loves spending time outside sniffing around the yard. We have started taking short walks around the neighborhood, and so far he has done very well on lead.
Thunder has a knack for interior design and loves dragging blankets, crate mats, and toys around the house, arranging them as he sees fit. He has been gentle with toys and loves anything that squeaks or grunts. He will gladly keep you company in the kitchen as a taste tester, the family room as a snuggle companion, or in the bathroom as your own personal body guard. He is a curious dog with the confidence to explore his surroundings, but he always returns to check in on his people.
