Big Booty Betty was in almost 100 races (98!) and has finally made her way over to AFG.
BigBootyBetty not only has the best name but she’s such a sweet girl! She loves affection and will happily sit in front of you getting pets for hours. She’s also very happy lounging on a dog bed and relaxing the day away, too!
Betty likes other dogs but doesn’t seem to need to follow them around. She will play when others want her to, but is more of a chill, easygoing gal with bursts of curiosity. She is fascinated by the cats, watching them go about their strange cat days with wide-eyed fascination. She will definitely need time to get used to new cats.
Betty has been perfect in her crate at night, when by herself, and when we leave. She might be a little whiny if she knows you’re in the house and not letting her out, but she settles quickly. She is very well-behaved and corrects wonderfully, wanting to do what her people want her to. She looks to you to learn and is very willing to learn your routine.
Betty is fairly confident except for her nemesis- hardwood floors. She would definitely prefer a house with carpet or rugs, although she is getting better with them over time. In general, she might be a bit hesitant with new things at first, but gets confident pretty quickly! She is learning to play with toys, come up for attention, and play outside.
