Moon is a sweet, friendly boy. His brother, Momba, was adopted through AFG and now its Moon’s turn. Moon didn’t race before retiring.
Moon is a youngin- less than two years old- but you wouldn’t guess it from how well-behaved he is! He loves to play and yes, in true toddler fashion, likes to chew on things but is the sweetest boy and will stop when you tell him. He is confident in most situations and is always happy, wagging his tail whenever you get home or just give him a nice pet. He’s great with all of the other dogs and cats, giving the cats kisses and always being willing to play with the dogs and frolic outside.
Moon is a giant goofball. He loves to slide across floors and play with other dogs but also relax on a nice bed or curl up and watch you cook (hoping for a few extra bits!). He wants to please his people and will walk right next to you, making sure you know he’s always there for you.
Moon was diagnosed with high blood pressure but it doesn’t seem to affect him at all. He takes two pills twice a day that are relatively cheap and you can just put on his food. Other than blood pressure checks at his vet appointments, it isn’t too problematic. Moon has a somewhat smaller bladder and needs to go out a little more often (which could also be linked to his blood pressure meds), but also manages well with belly bands.
Moon is happy chilling next to you and getting pets or laying around- he’s not velcro but does like affection. He would love to get pets and lay his face in your lap for a perpetual cuddle. Do you have room in your life for a Moon?
