Momba is a sweet young boy who doesn’t act his age. Other than bouts of playing, he is a well-behaved sweetheart. He is friendly, happy, and very loving. He loves to be with his people and will do pretty much anything for pets. He loves making his people happy and adapts well to routines.
His eyes didn’t develop properly after birth and doesn’t have full vision. However, he gets along really well in his foster home and his visual issues don’t really hinder him at all. He can navigate stairs during the day and at night outside, although he might like a little help if it’s particularly dark and stormy. He navigates around the house fine and does not bump into doors, etc. His peripheral vision is a little off and so he can get startled by things not in his direct line of sight but he adapts very quickly.
He is a cuddly, snuggly boy who would love to be your sous chef or new best friend. He would also be happy to be anyone’s best friend- dog or cat. He mostly ignores the cats and is happy to play with the other dogs, being very willing to cuddle. He’s the happiest, best of friends to everyone. He loves playing with toys but can be a little much with them. He definitely would fit into the rough chewer category! He can be redirected to bones or more durable toys if you just tell him what you want though! He is an extremely good boy who wants to be the best for his people.
Momba might need another dog in the house to help him navigate his world, but a person who can help him adjust would potentially be okay as well.
