Duck is a big, sweet boy who can be a little shy at first but loves his people and looks to them for attention. He’s a little older, racing in a full 80 races before retiring, and is ready for his forever home.
Duck is a little shy and scared in new situations. He is still afraid of the TV but is doing better around the house. He is still a bit nervous around toys that make noise and can be scared around fast moving things or loud noises.
He loves to play fetch with a ball. He loves to chew on bones. He goes into his crate to nap. He respects the cats boundaries but will alert you to their presence. He loves to cuddle and nuzzle into your shoulder for hugs.
I think he would do best with another animal. He does like to be around where everyone is or where the other dogs are and would likely benefit from a more confident dog. He does have sleep startle, so a house with teenagers or older children would be better as well as respecting his boundaries during sleep.
